NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Fewell, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski <br />and unanimously carried, the Authority approved the <br />contract with Cole Associates related to the Airport <br />Economic Development Area (Nimtz Parkway). <br />b. Authority authorization requested to designate the Board <br />of Public Works as its representative to handle <br />construction of the Nimtz Parkway in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the Authority has asked the Board <br />of Works to be its agent for projects in the past. In <br />that capacity they will approve the plans developed by <br />Cole Associates, handle the bidding process, and monitor <br />the construction of the project. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Fewell, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski <br />and unanimously carried, the Authority designated the <br />Board of Works to act as its representative to handle <br />• construction of the Nimtz Parkway in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. <br />c. Authority approval requested for Resolution No. 48 <br />approving and accepting transfer of real property from <br />the St Joseph County Airport Authority. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that this resolution accepts a small <br />piece of land adjacent to the existing Mayflower Road and <br />necessary to the portion of Mayflower Road that the <br />Authority is constructing. The way public agencies <br />transfer property is that they both adopt a similar <br />resolution. The Airport Authority has already adopted <br />their resolution transferring the property. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Fewell, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski <br />and unanimously carried, the Authority approved <br />Resolution No. 48 approving and accepting transfer of <br />real property from the St. Joseph County Airport <br />Authority. <br />d. Authority approval requested for .Proposal for appraisal <br />services in the Toll Road Industrial Park. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that we intend to acquire .six parcels <br />of land in the Toll Road Industrial Park from the <br />• Industrial Foundation. In order to make the purchase we <br />need to have them appraised. We received three proposals <br />to perform the desired appraisal work and need to hire <br />-2- <br />
