Changes were made to the control sequences to allow supply fans to run at lower speeds when
heating or cooling demands are less than design conditions. New motors were also installed for the two MZUs at
Wastewater Operations.

Commissioning
After the installation of the ECM, commissioning activities were performed in accordance with Schedule Q of the EPC.

The functionality of the control strategy, that is intended to slow down the supply air fan as the load on the MZU
decreases, was field verified.

Installation of the motors and VFDs were inspected and found to be acceptable by Ameresco.

Correct phase rotation of the fans and integration of the BACnet enabled VFDs w as verified.

Measurement & Verification
The M&V Plan for this ECM was based on Agreed Upon Savings. The savings for this measure are achieved upon
project acceptance.

Although the savings are agreed upon for this ECM, Ameresco has reduced the verified savings due to the units at
Indiana Shops operating at a faster speed than expected. This was due to a change in programming that was made
necessary by the fact that the unit was calling for heat, but it would not fire at airflow as low as initially programmed.
This adjustment will continue for future reporting periods.
