Date <br />DRIVES AND APPROACHES - URBAN ALLEYS 2-27 <br />2-2 <br />June 26, 2018 <br />SECTION 2 - STREETS AND PATHS <br />ALLEY APPROACH - PLAN <br />ALLEY APPROACH <br />SECTION A-A <br />NOTES: <br />1.Class "A" concrete to be used in all approaches. <br />2.Radii as specified. <br />3.Sidewalk as per INDOT Standard Drawings. <br />4.Contraction joints required on approach center when W is 12 ft. or more. <br />5."Curing Concrete" - As per INDOT Standard Specifications Section 501 (Paragraph <br />501.20) use a curing compound immediately (white membrane only accepted cure). <br />6.Concrete forms shall be at least as high as the thickness of the item shown. Lumber <br />of nominal dimensions shall not be used if less than the design thickness. <br />7.All approaches shall require proper compaction, as per INDOT Standard <br />Specifications Section 207. <br />8.Blankets shall be utilized on concrete when temperature is expected to fall below 50° <br />F. <br />9.Radii may be reduced to 20' if travel way is separated by parking. <br />LEGEND <br />Expansion Joint - Full Joint <br />Contraction Joint <br />W Width <br />L Length
