Date <br />DRIVES AND APPROACHES - INDUSTRIAL 2-26 <br />2-2 <br />June 26, 2018 <br />SECTION 2 - STREETS AND PATHS <br />NOTES: <br />1.Class "A" concrete to be used in all walks and approaches. <br />2.Radii as specified. <br />3.Utility poles, hydrants, etc. must be wrapped with 1/2" expansion joint material <br />prior to concrete pour. <br />4.Contraction joint required on approach center when D is 12 ft. or more. <br />5."Curing Concrete"- As per INDOT Standard Specifications Section 501 <br />(Paragraph 501.20). Use a curing compound immediately (white membrane only <br />accepted cure). <br />6.Concrete forms shall be at least as high as the thickness of the item shown. <br />Lumber of nominal dimension shall not be used if less than the design thickness. <br />7.All approaches shall require proper compaction as per INDOT Standard <br />Specification Section 207. <br />8.Blankets shall be utilized on concrete when temperature is expected to fall below <br />50°F. <br />9.Industrial Approach - 30'-0" Max. at throat, 40'-0" Max. radius. <br />INDUSTRIAL APPROACH <br />SECTION A-A <br />LEGEND: <br />Expansion Joint - Full Depth <br />Contraction Joint <br />D Approach Width <br />A <br />B
