No apparent errors or anomalies were discovered in review of the bids. Three bids were received for the work and each appear to be from a responsive bidder. Two of the bids received for the base bid were under the Engineer’s Estimate. One of the bids received for the sewer lining was below the Engineer’s Estimate. The lowest bid is dependant upon the award of the sewer lining. Below is a summary of the bids received: If the sewer lining is within the acceptable budget, we recommend award of the contract to Milestone Contractor North. If the additional cost for the sewer lining is not feasible, we recommend award of the contract to Rieth-Riley Construction.
