b. A preliminary bridge load rating analysis of the bridge whose dead load increased to <br />evaluate structural load capacity in accordance with the Indiana Inspection Manual will <br />be performed. The existing load rating model utilizing AASHTOWare BrR based on <br />original bridge plans and beam details shall be utilized for this analysis. <br />D. Public Involvement <br />1. The proposed action will require public involvement in activities throughout the project. <br />American Structurepoint will coordinate and develop community outreach with the city <br />staff. Public involvement activities proposed for this project include: <br />a. Public Engagement Plan - Compile a Public Engagement Plan that will be integrated as <br />part of project planning and development, provide direction on how to inform residents, <br />stakeholders, environmental justice and/or sensitive population communities, and other <br />interested parties, and how to incorporate their input as the project progresses. Public <br />Engagement Plan to be reviewed by the City prior to implementation. <br />b. Property Owner Notification Letters and Public Involvement Meeting Invitations: <br />American Structurepoint will provide the City with names and addresses for the public <br />meeting invitations and language for the letter. The City will print and mail the <br />invitations. <br />c. Attend up to ten (10) stakeholders and community group meetings, with a brief <br />presentation. Stakeholder meetings may include specific engagement meetings with <br />groups identified through review of environmental justice and/or sensitive population <br />communities. <br />d. Prepare content for a project website that will be hosted by the City. American <br />Structurepoint will assist in monitoring engagement and will prepare draft social media <br />notifications for the City to release regarding the wesbite. <br />e. Conduct up to five (5) Public Information Meetings for the project. <br />1) Meeting format will be open house style public meeting, with a brief presentation <br />by city personnel. <br />2) Public notices and presentation graphics will be prepared for the meetings. <br />3) Comments accepted for each meeting for a period of no more than 30 days. A <br />comment summary will be prepared for each Public Information Meeting. <br />Comments received during the public information meetings will be summarized for <br />information purposes only, formal response to comments will not be provided for <br />the Public Information Meetings. <br />f.
