<br />Quotation was submitted by Mr. Frank Russo, Jr.
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roos and carried, the above proposals were
<br />referred to Century Center Board, their Consultant, and Community Investment for review,
<br />tabulation, and recommendation.
<br />AWARD BID AND APPROVE CONTRACT— 2013 MANHOLE REHABILITATION --
<br />PROJECT NO. 112-053 SEWER REHABILITATION)
<br />In a memo to the Board, Mr. Michael Mecham, Engineering, advised the Board that on February
<br />26, 2013, bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those
<br />bids, Mr. Mecham recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and
<br />responsible bidder, Monoform of Indiana and Southern Michigan, PO Box 466, South Bend,
<br />Indiana 46624, in unit prices not to exceed $1,255,680.00. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion
<br />that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded and the contract approved as
<br />outlined above. Ms. Roos seconded the motion, which carried.
<br />AWARD BID AND APPROVE CONTRACT — FIVE (5), MORE OR LESS, 2013 OR NEWER
<br />3/4 TON FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE PICK UP TRUCKS (CODE ENFORCEMENT; CENTRAL
<br />SERVICES• PARK DEPARTMENT; TRAFFIC & LIGHTING; CLP CLI)
<br />Mr. Jeffrey Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on January 22, 2013, bids were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced vehicles. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder,
<br />Gates Automotive Group, 636 West McKinley Highway, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545, in the total
<br />amount of $144,014.30.

<br />Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be
<br />awarded and the contract approved as outlined above subject to leasing as applicable. Ms. Roos
<br />seconded the motion, which carried.

<br />TON TWO -WHEEL DRIVE PICK UP (2013 CAPITAL BUDGET
<br />Mr. Jeffrey Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on January 22, 2013, bids were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced vehicle. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Gates Automotive Group, 636 West McKinley Highway, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545, in the
<br />amount of $26,512, which is the Base Bid with Option A. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion
<br />that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded and the contract approved as
<br />outlined above. Ms. Roos seconded the motion, which carried.
<br />AWARD BID AND APPROVE CONTRACT — TWENTY-EIGHT (28) 2013 OR NEWER
<br />FRONT -WHEEL DRIVE POLICE PATROL, VEHICLES (CAPITAL LEASE
<br />PRINCIPAUCAPITAL LEASE INTEREST PRINCIPAL)
<br />Mr. Jeffrey Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on January 22, 2013, bids were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced vehicles. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Gates Automotive Group, 636 West McKinley Highway, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545, in the
<br />amount of $22,939.66, which is the Base Bid with Option A, each for a total of $642,310.48.
<br />Therefore, Ms. Roos made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be
<br />awarded and the contract approved as outlined above subject to financing. Mr. Neal seconded the
<br />motion, which carried.
