All rights reserved. <br /> <br />D. Attend bid document review meeting with City virtually. <br />E. Construction Administration Phase <br />1. Address comments received during preliminary reviews with the authorities having <br />jurisdiction (AHJ). <br />2. Prepare electronic submittal to Indiana Department of Homeland Security (State) <br />and City of South Bend (City) as the AHJ. GC/CM to coordinate permit issuance <br />and filing/review fees associated once AHJ has formally approved project. <br />3. Attend virtual pre-construction conference to establish protocol with South Bend <br />and selected General Contractor (GC). <br />4. Review shop drawings and material selections submittals for the portion of work <br />designed and specified by American Structurepoint. Review of submittals shall be <br />for general conformance with the information given and design concept expressed <br />in the Contract Documents. We will review submittals up to two (2) times for <br />conformance with design. Additional reviews may be requested by the Owner or <br />General Contractor as an additional service. Submittals will be reviewed within ten <br />(10) business days of receipt unless noted otherwise. <br />5. Prepare documentation regarding clarifications, additional instructions, and changes <br />to the work as construction progresses. Requests for information will be reviewed <br />within five (5) business days of receipt unless noted otherwise. <br />6. Make one (1) site visit to observe and become generally familiar with the quality <br />and the progress of the construction work relative to elements designed and <br />specified by Engineer. <br />7. Issue one (1) punch list from the final job-site visit. Once the punch list has been <br />completed, a certificate of substantial completion will be issued to the AHJ to allow <br />use of the two (2) elevators. Punch list or deficient items with any associated costs <br />can be attached to the substantial completion document. <br />8. At the Owner’s request, provide Record Drawings as an additional service <br />incorporating the design elements prepared by American Structurepoint. (Note: <br />Record Drawings are not considered “As-Built” drawings. Preparation of “As- <br />Built” drawings is the responsibility of the Construction Manager or General <br />Contractor. <br />Building Assessment (estimated at approximately eight (8) weeks after owner review and approval of <br />programming and conceptual design services) <br />A. We will conduct short interviews of key personnel during the site visit to discuss major <br />systems and component repairs/replacements completed, ongoing, and programmed for the <br />building as well as any areas of concern. <br />B. A single site visit consisting of a walk-through survey will be conducted and will consist of <br />the following: <br /> <br /> <br />
