ii. Number of Signs. <br />a. Five-Hundred (500) Feet or Less -One (1) freestanding <br />identification sign for each street or limited access highway <br />which abuts an integrated center for five-hundred (500) feet <br />or less, provided that: <br />1. the minimum separation between freestanding <br />identification signs in the integrated center, <br />regardless of the orientation of the freestanding <br />identification signs, shall be one hundred (100) feet; <br />and, <br />2. a maximum of one (1) freestanding identification <br />sign is oriented toward each street or limited access <br />highway. <br />b. More Than Five-Hundred (500) Feet - When an integrated <br />center abuts the same street or limited access highway for <br />more than five-hundred (500) feet, one (1) additional <br />freestanding identification sign shall be permitted on that <br />street or limited access highway, provided that: <br />1. the minimum separation between freestanding <br />identification signs along the same street or limited <br />access highway is three hundred (300) feet; <br />2. the additional freestanding identification sign is <br />oriented to the street or limited access highway <br />which abuts the integrated center for more than <br />five-hundred (500) feet; <br />3. the minimum separation between freestanding <br />identification signs in the integrated center, <br />regardless of the orientation of the freestanding <br />identification signs, shall be one hundred (100) feet; <br />and, <br />4. the total sign surface area of all freestanding <br />identification signs does not exceed the maximum <br />sign surface area permitted below. <br />c. Any freestanding identification sign for an integrated center <br />shall include the name of the integrated center and such <br />sign shall allocate a minimum often (10) percent of the <br />sign surface area to the name of the integrated center. <br />28 <br />
