Before requesting final inspection for certification of final acceptance and final payment, <br />the following must be completed; <br /> <br />1. Submit the Final Payment Request with final release and supporting <br />documentation, not previously submitted and accepted. Include certificates of <br />insurance for products and completed operations where required. <br /> <br />2. Submit an updated final statement accounting for final additional changes to the <br />contract sum. <br /> <br />3. Submit a copy of the Engineer's Final Inspection with a Contractor's cover letter <br />stating that each item has been completed or otherwise resolved for acceptance. <br /> <br />B. Re-inspection Procedures: The Engineer will re-inspect the work upon receipt of the <br />above items. Upon completion of re-inspection, the Engineer will prepare a Certificate of <br />Final Acceptance or advise the Contractor of work that is incomplete and required before <br />final acceptance can be issued. <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.1 FINAL CLEANING <br /> <br />A. General cleaning during construction is required, as defined in the General Conditions <br />and as described elsewhere in the Specifications. <br /> <br />B. Final cleaning shall be as described in Section 01710. <br /> <br /> <br />END OF SECTION 01700 <br />
