South Bend Central Development Area <br />(2) continued... <br />no structural damage to the city's property as <br />a result of the fence installation. Memorial <br />Health and Lifestyle Center will absorb the <br />entire cost and would like to have <br />Commission approval to use the solid wall <br />portion of the city garage for proper <br />installation. Staff recommends approval. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Dr. Varner and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Easement <br />Agreement with Memorial Health & <br />Lifestyle Center. <br />(3) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services. (Gates <br />Toyota building, 333 Western) <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that staff solicited and <br />Wightman Petrie submitted a proposal in the <br />not to exceed amount of $14,500 to perform <br />a facility study for 333 Western Avenue, the <br />current Gates Toyota building. Staff <br />recommends approval. <br />Dr. Varner asked if the city owns the <br />building. Mr. Schalliol responded that we <br />are considering acquiring it. <br />Mr. Downes asked if there was a party <br />interested in reusing the building. Mr. <br />Schalliol responded that there is. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Dr. Varner and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />proposal and accepted the proposal from <br />37 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE EASEMENT <br />AGREEMENT WITH MEMORIAL HEALTH & <br />LIFESTYLE CENTER <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />PROPOSAL AND ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />WIGHTMAN PETRIE FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO <br />EXCEED $14,500 FOR THE SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />PROPOSED <br />
