For payment purpose, the mobilization portion of this item will be limited to <br />seventy-five (75%) percent of the lump sum price, which will be included in <br />the first partial payment estimate. <br /> <br />3. The balance of the lump sum price is considered as demobilization and will <br />be paid for when all work is completed on the job and final clean-up is <br />completed. <br /> <br />XXI. CLEARING RIGHT-OF-WAY <br /> <br />A. 2022 INDOT Standard Specification: 201 and 202 <br /> <br />B. Additions: <br /> <br />1. The lump sum price bid for "Clearing Right-of-Way" shall include payment <br />for "Clearing and Grubbing", and "Removal of Structures and Obstructions", <br />which shall include removal of all brush, trees, other vegetation, and man- <br />made materials required to perform the scope of work, except for those items <br />which are specifically listed in the proposal for separate payment. <br /> <br />2. The removal of RCBA and integral concrete curb will be measured and paid <br />by the square yard price bid for "Pavement Removal". <br /> <br />3. The removal of concrete curb and gutter will be measured and paid by the <br />square yard price bid for "Curb and Gutter, Remove". <br /> <br />4. The removal of trees will be measured and paid per each price bid for "Tree <br />10-inch, Remove". This work shall also include stump removal, backfill with <br />suitable material, topsoil and hydromulch seed for surface restoration. These <br />items will not be paid separately and shall be included in the cost of this pay <br />item. <br /> <br />5. The removal of sidewalk will be measured and paid by the square yard price <br />bid for "Sidewalk Concrete, Remove". <br /> <br />6. Any fencing or man-made obstructions (i.e., guardrail, utility markers, <br />landscape rocks, etc.) which are in place at the start of construction shall be <br />carefully removed. These items shall be restored using recovered serviceable <br />materials. These shall include obstructions within existing right-of-way <br />impacted by the scope of the work. Removal and restoration of fencing and <br />other man-made obstacles within the right-of-way will not be paid for <br />separately and shall be included in the cost of the pay item. Damaged items <br />caused by the Contractor shall be restored or replaced at no additional cost to <br />the Owner. <br /> <br />7. The Contractor shall have all underground utilities field located prior to the <br />start of construction. The Contractor shall protect existing and relocated <br />utilities from damage. Burial of debris on site will not be allowed. Disposal <br />of debris shall be at an off-site location in an approved manner according to <br />all County and State Statutes. <br />
