Successful bidder is required to submit Form 347, Weekly Payroll, to the <br />Engineer within 10 days of the applicable payroll date throughout the <br />duration of the Contract. <br /> <br />XI. PAYMENT <br /> <br />A. The quantities shown in the bid documents are believed to be sufficient to complete <br />the specified work, however, they are approximate and are shown for the purpose of <br />comparing bids. Payment to the Contractor will be made only for those quantities of <br />work actually completed and accepted in accordance with specifications. Major work <br />changes made in the field must be submitted for approval prior to the commencement <br />of work, or the Engineer must sign the Contractor’s daily work report on the day the <br />work is performed. Minor changes in existing items must be reviewed by the <br />Engineer in the field and documented on the Engineer’s daily report. <br /> <br />B. Payment for the various items of the contract shall be complete and final according to <br />the Field Engineer. Payment for all materials, tools, equipment, overhead and profit <br />for the item shall be completed on a progress pay estimate processed at a two (2) <br />week minimum basis. Payment shall be determined from weight tickets or shipping <br />bill furnished by the Contractor for each material delivered to the project, and upon <br />field measurements as agreed upon by the Contractor and the Engineer. Payment will <br />only be made once all paperwork including daily certifications, weight tickets, <br />change orders, payrolls, and work schedules are received for that pay period. <br /> <br />XII. AWARD AND EXECUTION <br /> <br />A. 2022 INDOT Standard Specification: 103 <br /> <br />B. Additions: <br /> <br />1. The submission of the lowest total of all unit price extensions does not <br />guarantee award of contract to the Bidder submitting such low total of <br />extensions. <br /> <br />2. If a Contract is awarded, the award shall be to the qualified bidder submitting <br />the most advantageous proposal to the Owner. The Owner shall consider in <br />its evaluations of proposals: <br /> <br />a. the total estimated amount of the contract work indicated by the total <br />of unit price extensions; and <br /> <br />b. the individual unit prices bid, with particular attention and <br />consideration of unit prices for major work items that are subject to <br />overrun; and <br /> <br />c. the probable final, as-constructed cost of the project work; and <br /> <br />d. the overall qualifications, experience, and history of satisfactorily <br />completed projects of each bidder. <br />
