All rights reserved. <br />A1.10 Environmental Remediation Document Review and Coordination <br />1. Review available documentation for 521 Eclipse Place (South Bend Animal Resource <br />Center) – Brownfield # 4080402. <br />a. Request additional information from the Owner regarding this property. If additional <br />information is not available and proposed improvements include work around the <br />Animal Resource Center Bldg. then additional investigation shall be performed. <br />1) These additional investigations are considered Additional Services and are not in <br />this scope of services and would include documentation of the removal of the UST <br />and if contaminated soils remain in-place. <br />2. Review available documentation for Honeywell Industrial Complex (Voluntary <br />Remediation Program # 6980601). <br />a. Coordinate with IDEM and Honeywell’s environmental consultant including the <br />following: <br />1) Confirm potential additional storm water infiltration from proposed improvements <br />does not impact the remedial approach. <br />2) Discuss restrictions related to any potential groundwater contact and dewatering <br />during construction with IDEM and Honeywell. Document findings for future <br />reference. <br />3) Based on the March 2022, Honeywell Phase II Groundwater Pilot Study Report, a <br />large-scale implementation of the corrective action to reduce groundwater <br />contaminants from migrating through the groundwater underneath Kennedy Park <br />may occur. Investigate implementation schedule and potential impacts to proposed <br />improvements if remediation is undertaken. <br />b. The Owner will assist the Engineer by facilitating meetings with IDEM and Honeywell. <br />A1.11 ORLP Grant Supporting Documents <br />A. Prepare and furnish required proposal elements for the ORLP Grant Application to include: <br />1. Project Timeline to complete the tasks/activities under the Proposal. <br />2. Photos to provide context such as current site conditions, the surrounding environment, etc. <br />3. Recreation Area Map showing the location of the project and identifying all existing <br />recreation resources (if any) within a .5 -mile vicinity of the economically disadvantaged <br />community(ies) that will be served by the project. <br />4. Map (or Aerial Photo) Delineating Project Area and Proposed Boundary – will clearly <br />indicate area to be acquired and or developed, as well as the proposed boundary of the <br />larger park/recreation area that would be subject to the perpetual protection provisions of <br />the LWCF Act (54 U.S.C. 200305(f)(3)), all know outstanding rights and interests in the <br />area held by others, total acres within the boundary(ies), and a north arrow.
