All rights reserved. <br />those alternate solutions available to Owner which Engineer recommends. For each <br />recommended solution Engineer will provide the following, which will be separately <br />itemized: opinion of probable Construction Cost; proposed allowances for contingencies; <br />the estimated total costs of design, professional, and related services to be provided by <br />Engineer and its Consultants; and, on the basis of information furnished by Owner, a <br />summary of allowances for other items and services included within the definition of Total <br />Project Costs. <br />6.Perform or provide the following additional Conceptual Phase tasks or deliverables: <br />a.Topographic Survey <br />b.CONSULTANT shall survey the project location and provide one set of original field <br />notes, all field survey data collected via electronic media, and one set of master <br />drawings. CONSULTANT shall obtain section corner, right-of-way, easement, and <br />state plane coordinate information as necessary to satisfactorily complete the basic field <br />survey services described herein within the project limits. A location control route <br />survey plat in not included in this scope of services. <br />c.The signature, seal, and registration number of the land surveyor, registered in the State <br />of Indiana, who was in responsible charge of the survey, shall be affixed to the survey <br />book submitted. In addition, CONSULTANT shall complete the field survey as <br />summarized below and as directed by the Client. The project area to be field surveyed <br />is described as follows: <br />Survey Limits <br />d.Original Martin Luther King, Jr. Center Survey Limits – The survey area is bounded on <br />the west by College Street, north by Linden Avenue, east by Birdsell Street and south <br />by Orange Street. In all areas, the survey limits will extend to the back of curb on the <br />opposite side of the street. These limits are covered under a previous proposal. The <br />original survey is being prepared for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Dream Center project. <br />e.Additional Survey for Linden Avenue Streetscape – Expand the survey along Linden <br />Avenue from the north back of curb to a point 10 feet beyond the back of sidewalk. <br />Additionally, survey will be collected at the intersections of College Street & Linden <br />Avenue and Birdsell Street & Linden Avenue for 50 feet in all directions with the limits <br />extending 10 feet beyond the back of walk. All buildings that fall within 15 feet of the <br />back of walk will have finished floor elevations surveyed. <br />f.Coordinate with all utility companies to locate and mark their utilities in field. VS shall <br />notify the utilities via the call before you dig notification system (Indiana Underground <br />Plant Protection Service (I.U.P.P.S.)). VS shall verify that each utility has field located <br />their facilities during the course of the design survey. The existing facilities located, at <br />the time of the field survey, shall be incorporated into the design survey. In addition, <br />VS shall provide listing of all utilities and all information available for that utility <br />including address, and telephone number.
