All rights reserved. <br />This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of 17 pages, referred to in <br />and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer <br />for Professional Services dated ______, 2022. <br />Engineer’s Services <br />Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. <br />Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below. <br />PART 1 – BASIC SERVICES <br />Description of Project <br />Linden Avenue Streetscape will occur along approximately 730 feet of Linden Avenue between Birdsell <br />Street and College Street. The streetscape improvements will include new roadway paving, curbs, <br />sidewalks, storm sewer modifications, crosswalks, signs, furnishings, and landscape plantings. The goal of <br />the project is to provide on-street parking, ornamental lighting, raised intersections at Birdsell Street and <br />College Street, bump-outs at crosswalks and other streetscape amenities. <br />Assumptions: <br />1.All project related construction activities will be completed within existing right-of-way. There <br />will be no right-of-way engineering or land acquisition required for the project. <br />2.The only environmental permit required for the project will be the IDEM Construction Stormwater <br />General Permit. <br />A1.01 Conceptual Drawings Phase / 30% Design Submittal <br />A.Engineer shall: <br />1.Consult with Owner to define and clarify Owner’s requirements for the Project and <br />available data. <br />2.Advise Owner of any need for Owner to provide data or services of the types described in <br />Exhibit B which are not part of Engineer’s Basic Services. <br />3.Identify, consult with, and analyze requirements of governmental authorities having <br />jurisdiction to approve the portions of the Project designed or specified by Engineer, <br />including but not limited to mitigating measures identified in the environmental <br />assessment. <br />4.Identify and evaluate one (1) alternate solutions available to Owner and, after consultation <br />with Owner, recommend to Owner those solutions which in Engineer’s judgment meet <br />Owner’s requirements for the Project. <br />5.Prepare conceptual drawings (the “Conceptual Drawing Submittal”) which will, as <br />appropriate, contain schematic layouts, sketches, and conceptual design criteria with <br />appropriate exhibits to indicate the agreed-to requirements, considerations involved, and
