Size: As indicated on the drawings. <br /> <br />a. Frame Depth: 2 7/16” detailed and specified; (2 1/2” nominal) <br /> <br />2.05 INSULATED METAL PANELS: <br /> <br />A. The window manufacturer shall provide and install an insulated metal panel into the glazing <br />pocket of the window frame where shown on the drawings. <br /> <br />B. Metal Panel Construction: 1” thick <br /> <br /> 1. Exterior: .040. Aluminum sheet; embossed <br /> <br /> 2. Core: Polyurethane foam <br /> <br /> 3. Interior: .040. Aluminum sheet; embossed <br /> <br />C. Finish: Match finish system of the window frame. <br /> <br />1. Colors: As selected by the Architect. A minimum of two (2) colors – exterior and <br />interior - will be selected. <br /> <br />2.06 EXTERIOR SUN SHADE DEVICES: <br /> <br /> A. Aluminum <br /> <br /> 1. Extruded aluminum shall be 6063-T6 alloy and temper. <br /> <br /> <br /> B. Anchors <br /> <br /> 1. Perimeter and floor line anchors shall be aluminum or steel. All steel anchors <br /> shall be properly insulated from the aluminum. <br /> <br /> C. Fabrication: <br /> <br /> 1. General <br /> <br /> a. All aluminum horizontal extrusions (blades) shall have a minimum wall <br /> thickness of .063" (1.5 mm) to .125" (3 mm). <br /> <br /> b. Sunshade “arms” and mullion clips shall be extrusions with a nominal <br /> wall thickness of .25” (6 mm). <br /> <br />2. Sunshade Device <br /> <br /> a. Horizontal components (blades) shall be mechanically fastened by <br /> means of extruded aluminum screw splines. <br /> <br /> D. Finish <br /> <br /> 1. As specified in 2.03, E of this Technical Specification Section. <br />
