Confidential & Proprietary Information of Ameresco, Inc. <br />Page 25 of 54 <br />ECM 2: AHU-1 Replacement <br />•Remove existing AHU-1 <br />•Remove and dispose of existing chiller (C-2) connected to AHU-1 <br />o Infill metal grating of rooftop steel superstructure where chiller C-2 previously was <br />located <br />•Demolish and dispose of roof mounted piping between chiller C-2 and AHU-1 <br />•Steel support structure to be modified to accept new packaged air handling unit <br />•Route new single location electrical connection from basement electrical panels to new AHU <br />connection point. <br />•Provide and install a single packaged air handling unit with matching supply air quantity, <br />heating/cooling capacity, approximately: <br />o 45,000CFM airflow <br />o 150Ton cooling <br />o 2,000MBH heating <br />•New AHU to include new energy recovery wheel <br />•Include bipolar ionization (BPI) technology in new AHU <br />•Structural engineering is included <br />ECM 3: RTU & MAU Replacement <br />•Remove existing rooftops units RTU‐2, RTU‐4, RTU‐6 and RTU‐7. Properly dispose of <br />refrigerant. <br />•Replace with new rooftop units with equivalent capacity and greater efficiency, <br />approximately: <br />o RTU-2 – 18,000CFM/620MBH <br />o RTU-4 – 8,000CFM/400MBH <br />o RTU-6 – 3,000CFM/108MBH <br />o RTU-7 – 5,000CFM/297MBH <br />•Units will be provided with improved fan efficiency, cooling efficiency, and multi stage <br />heating. <br />•Remove and dispose of chiller C‐1 and replace with one (1) 40 ton air cooled chiller, to serve <br />new RTUs. <br />•All new RTUs and new chiller will be integrated with the new BAS installed under ECM 5. <br />•Replace large rooftop ductwork with new that is insulated with weatherproof white outer <br />shell similar in look to new roofing. Existing exhaust fans to remain. <br />•Remove existing makeup air unit to restaurant space in basement storage room. Properly <br />dispose of unit and associated piping. <br />o Replace with new makeup air unit with equivalent capacity and greater efficiency. <br />o MAU – 4,000CFM <br />•Include bipolar ionization (BPI) technology in new RTUs and MAU. <br />•Structural engineering is included
