LU0 <br />The Board met in regular session at.10 A. M. All members present. <br />Bond of B. T. Vanderkarr & Son filed and approved and contract signed for <br />the Miller Coubt Grade, Curb & Walk. <br />Bond of John Siders filed and approved and contract signed for the St. Peter <br />street Grade, Curb & Walk. <br />The Board having under consideration the matter of benefits and damages under <br />Vacation Resolution No. 41, adopted on the 13th day or February and confirmed on the <br />6th day of March, 1906, and the Board having before ;gt the petition of IUgargarettia <br />Lederer & John N. Lederer owners of all the real estate abutting the alley in <br />question on the west side thereof, wherein they agree that the real estate in said <br />alley should go to the propertynon the east side thereof from which said alley was <br />originally given. It is therefore ordered and adjudged that the real estate on the <br />west side of said vacated alley sustain no damages in the said vacation and that the <br />real estate of Mary J. Hinkle as described in the Vacation Resolution is benefitted <br />in the amount of Five Dollars, and <br />Whereas the said Lederers have relinquished any claim for damages in the <br />vacation and whereas said Mary J. Hinkle comes now before the board and pays the <br />said sum of Five Dollars. as herein assessed and waives notice and hearing on the <br />same, further -proceedings in the matter are unnecessary and the vacation is <br />hereby concluded. <br />SPECIAL SESSION TUESDAY APRIL 16TH, 1907, AT 7:15 P. M. <br />The Board met in Special session at ?7;15 P. 14. Mr. Papczynski -absent. <br />Hearing on Improvement Resolution No. 431 for Pipe Sewer on Rush street from <br />Monroe street to 300 ft South, was deferred until Friday April 19th, 19072 at <br />10 A. M. <br />Hearingiven'on Improvement Resolutions for Brick Pavement on Miami street from <br />Vistula avenue to Bowman street; Brick Pavement on Woodward avenue & Claifornia <br />street from Hudson avenue to Leland avenue; Brick pavement on Rush street,f rom <br />Monroe street to Sample street, All under Improvement resolutions nos. 42S. 429 <br />& 430 respectively. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. <br />The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the <br />benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated <br />cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed <br />and approved. <br />Engineer filed estimated cost as follows: Rush St Brick $10,025. Miami street <br />Brick $19758..
