Friday May _l9th,_ 1 <br />The Board met in regular session at.10 A. M. Mr. Papezynski absent. <br />Engineer reported. grade on the alley south of Monroe street from Fellows <br />street to Rush street. Same was approved. <br />Petition filed by the Indiana Lumber & Mfg Co asl.ing that they be compelled <br />to,put in but one tap on their W. Washington street property. Same was granted. <br />Remonstrance against the amount of assessments on the Condemnation Resolution <br />No. 22. was over -ruled.. <br />Hearing on Assessment roll for benefits and damages in the matter of the <br />appropriation of property for the opening of an alley along the City Cemetery from <br />Elm street west, under�Condemnation Resolution No.' 22. <br />No remonstrators €0peared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore <br />find that the property assessed in said rolls filed April 20th, 1906, are benefitted <br />and damaged respectively in the amount as shown on said roll, and the Board further <br />find that the assessment roll filed April 20th, 1906, should be and the same is <br />hereby in -all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Hearing given on Declaratory Resolution for Cement Curb & 'Walk on Parry <br />street from Division street to the West line of Eddy street, under Declaratory <br />Resolution No. 336. <br />In the, -above matter no remonstrators appeard and no remonstrances were filed.. <br />The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the bene <br />fits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated <br />cost of said improvements and the same are hereby i} all things ratified, confirmed <br />and approved. <br />Engineer filed estimated cost as follows. <br />Parry street Cement Walk & Curb ........$12931.00 <br />. <br />Resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the <br />19th day of May and on the 26th day of May 1906, to l-ie effect that this Board <br />will receive bids for said improvements up to 10 an. on the 5th day of June, 1906, <br />The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. <br />Marietta & Bronson street Bribk Pavement under Improvement Resolution No. 340 <br />to be.included in the above advertisement for bids. <br />(see next page) <br />
