The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Papczynski absent. Petition filed for Grade, Curb & Walk on Milton street from Fellows street to Michigan street. Referred to the Engineer for Specifications. Contractor Bond of A.. C. Bates filed and approved. Bond filed and approved and contract signed with Sidmon & Dambacher for the Golden avenue Grade, Curb & Walk Improvement. Engineer was instructed to prepare specifications for a pipe sewer on Broadway street from Main street to a point west of Michigan street. South Bend Electric Company were notified to move the light now located about 100 feet North of Navarre street on Lafayette street to the intersection of Horatio court. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 343. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Fifty-eight water connections on S. Lafayette street from Sample street to Broadway street, according to a report submitted to the Common Council and adopted on the 23rd day of April 1906. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE SOUTH LAFAYETTE STREET WATER CONNECTION IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on.the 19th day of May and on the 26th day of May 1906, in the south Bend Daily Times. This Board will receive bids up to 10 A. M. on the 5th day of June 1906. Adopted this 16th day of May 1906. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 344. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE'WIETTA &.BRONSON STREET WATER CONNECTION IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil, Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on the 19th day of May and on the 26th day of May 1906, in t1le South Bend Daily Times.
