Fridav Anril <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. <br />Bond of Sidmon & Dambacher filed and approved and contract signed for the Fassnacht <br />avenue Grade, Curb & Walk. <br />Bids were opened for the construction of a public scale house. Contract awarded <br />to Louis A. Hickey the lowest and best bidder. Contract price $36g.OG <br />Board of Public Works, <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />Gentlemen: -- <br />By request of Architect Brehmer I propose to furnish 5/9 X 11 D & M & B cell <br />to veil the barn ceiling and east partition wall of barn for the sum of Fifty-eight ($59) <br />Dollars or will furnish S" D & M & B #1 White pine ceiling instead of 4" for the sum of <br />fifty-three ($53) Dollars. <br />Yours very truly, <br />George •J. Hoffman. <br />$5£3.00 proposition accepted. <br />Engineer filed assessment roll showing the benefits and. damages in the matter of <br />the appropriation of property for the opening of an alley along the south side of the <br />City Cemetery from Elm scree+ west, under Condemnation Resolution No. 22. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 336. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an <br />improvement `be de of the kind size, location and terminal points as follows: Cement <br />sidewalks",on P ma <br />street from Division street to the south end of Parry street. Said <br />improvement shall be known and designated as "THE PARRY STREET CURB;& WALK IMPROVEMENT" <br />and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City c <br />Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 21st <br />day of April and on the 28th day of April 1906, in the, Sout.i Bend Daily Times. This Board <br />will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the Sth day of <br />May 1906, at 7:15 P. M. <br />A Bond or Bonds to be issued ,to the Contractor in payment for such work where the <br />property owner signs waiver required as according to law. Which said bond shall <br />bear interest at the rate of five percent per annumnpayable as provided by law. <br />Adopted this 20th day of April,1906. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 337. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an <br />improvement be made of the kind, size, 1.>cationand terminal points as follows: Pipe <br />Sewer on Cedar street from Emerick street to Eddy street. Said improvement shall be known <br />and designated as "THE CEDAR STREET PIPE SEWER IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed acc- <br />ording to the plans and specifications prepared by the City„Civil Engineer, filed herewith. <br />notice of this resolution shall be•published on the 21st day of April and on the 29th day <br />of April 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times.- This Board will give a hearing on this <br />resolution at its office in the City Hall on the Sth day of May 19062 at 7:15 P.
