Wednesday April l8th, 1906. <br />The Board net in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. <br />Hearing on Chestnut street Pipe Sewer under Improvement Resolution TO. 322 <br />amended to read from Washington street to Jefferson street. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. <br />The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits <br />to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of <br />said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and <br />approved. <br />Petition filed for Brick Pavement on alley south of Wayne street from <br />Main street to Lafayette street. <br />----- oOo----- <br />STATE OF INDIANA <br />) SS. <br />ST. JOSEPH COUNTY ( In the St. Joseph Circuit Court, <br />February Term, 1906. <br />In the matter of the Petition of ( <br />PORTAGE LAND COMPANY VS. CITY ) Report of Appraisers. <br />OF SOUTH BEND INDIANA. <br />The undersigned Appraisers to whom was referred the above entitled matter, do <br />hereby report that the assessment complained of by the Plaintiff in said cause <br />does not exceed the special benefits to said property, and the assessment made by <br />the Board of Public Works, to —wit: Two hundred forty—nine Dollard and three cents <br />($249.03) upon the 26th day of January, 1906 is hereby in all things confirmed and <br />approved by us. <br />Signed this 17th day of April 19060' <br />Appraisers. <br />(Signed) <br />William L.
