This is NOT <br />correct. Crack cocaine is the most addictive and dangerous drug today. Crack <br />causes vomiting, tremors, convulsions, and rapid heartbeat. High doses depress <br />brain functioning, which may lead to death. Cocaine remains in a users system <br />for about two to four days. <br />Workplace Issues <br />— Extreme mood and energy swings create instability. Sudden noise causes a <br />violent reaction. <br />— Lapses in attention and ignoring warning signals increases probability of <br />accidents. <br />— High cost frequently leads to theft and/or dealing. <br />— Paranoia and withdrawal may create unpredictable or violent behavior. <br />— Performance is characterized by forgetfulness, absenteeism, tardiness, and <br />missing assignments. <br />Amphetamines <br />Amphetamines stimulate the central nervous system promoting a feeling of alertness <br />and an increase in speech and general activity. Frequent users often suffer <br />from measles like acne, have trouble with their teeth, gums, and nails, and have dry <br />hair. <br />A derivative of from amphetamines is methamphetamines. It has become more popular <br />in recent years, and can be manufactured from common household products. It has <br />similar effects on the central nervous system, but enters the system much faster. It is <br />highly addictive, and comes in several forms: white powder, pills, and crystal -like rock. It <br />can be swallowed, injected, inhaled, or smoked. Names can vary depending on form, <br />geographical location, and the local drug culture.
