The <br /> proposed reimbursement agreement with JPR, formerly Wightman Petrie, is in the amount <br /> of$83,049.00 and was used to accomplish the following tasks: <br /> Proposal Proposal Amount <br /> Various Proposals for Conceptual and Planning Design Services related 30,000.00 <br /> to Union Station Technology Center and Renaissance District <br /> Proposal For Services To Obtain Railroad Crossing Permit For 17,029.00 <br /> Renaissance District Underground Utility Borings <br /> Proposal For Services To Provide Utility Survey And GI5 Data For 36,020.00 <br /> Renaissance District Development <br /> Total Amount 83,049.00 <br /> In the future, the Commission will contract directly with vendors for services that can be <br /> paid from MOU #1 funding. Staff asks for approval to pay JPR, Inc. for services already <br /> performed. <br /> Mr. Varner asked where the project stands now. Mr. Schalliol responded that within the <br /> next two weeks the generators and the switch equipment will be delivered and installed on <br /> the western end of the site to provide the five megawatts of power USTC will need to <br /> operate. As far as the bigger picture, USTC is still working to close on the Ivy Tower <br /> building by the end of the year. We've got a draft agreement on the sale of the former <br /> Millennium Environmental land to USTC. That item will probably be before the <br /> Commission at its second meeting in January. A lot of pieces of this project are coming <br /> together. A lot of build-out has been done to the west end of Union Station for the <br /> technology center uses. That portion of the building should be filled with equipment during <br /> early 2013. Most of that progress is not visible from the outside. Once the closing on the <br /> Ivy Tower building takes place, that portion of the project will be much more visible. <br /> 9 <br />
