1.06 Question: Is irrigation required?
<br />Clarification: Irrigation over the entire site is not included in this project. However, all trees
<br />planted shall receive a tree water bag. Refer to Special Provisions, page 39, Section LXIV,
<br />Irrigation Tree Watering System.

<br />2.01 SPECIAL PROVISIONS, Page 2, Index of Provisions
<br />1. REVISE Index of Provisions, Section XLVIX to read, "HMA Patching, Type B, pg. 28."
<br />2.02 SPECIAL PROVISIONS, Page 12, Section XX, Construction Engineering:
<br />1. REVISE Item B, No. 7 a. (iv) to include, "Only computer-generated corrections will be
<br />accepted on the final sets (electronic and hard -copy) of as -built drawings. No handwritten
<br />strike -outs or corrections will be accepted. The final set of as -built drawings shall be clearly
<br />stamped "AS -BUILT" and dated with the date of production. They shall also be stamped and
<br />certified by a professional engineer or professional land surveyor. The design engineer will
<br />provide the contractor with CAD files to complete their as-builts."
<br />2.03 SPECIAL PROVISION, Page 13, Section XXII, Maintenance of Traffic

<br />1. REVISE Item B, No. 1, to read, "The Contractor shall provide effective dust control. Loader -
<br />mounted pick up, power sweepers, or other types of pull type models shall be used in all
<br />phases of street cleaning of streets adjacent to the limits of active construction. Contractor
<br />shall limit dust when sweeping the streets."
<br />2.05 SPECIAL PROVISION, Page 20, Section XXXVI, Curb Removal
<br />I. REVISE Item B, No. 4, to read, "Where curb is to be removed and replaced adjacent to
<br />pavement to remain, any pavement disturbed during the removal of the curb shall be filled
<br />with HMA patching, Type B, to a depth of 1 %" below the finished elevation, with 1 %" of
<br />HMA Surface, Type B, applied to the patching, in accordance with the details shown in the
<br />plans."
<br />2.06 SPECIAL PROVISIONS, Page 23, Section XLIII, Borrow and Backfill
<br />1. REVISE Item A, Prevailing Specifications: 2020.
<br />2.07 SPECIAL PROVISIONS, Page 25, Section XLVI, Concrete Curb
<br />1. REVISE Item B, No. 7 note, "Where existing curb is to be removed and replaced without
<br />replacing the adjacent pavement, the contractor shall saw cut the existing pavement near
<br />the curb prior to removal. The area between the proposed curb and existing pavement shall
<br />be filled with HMA patching, Type B, to a depth of 1 %" below the finished elevation, with 1
<br />%" of HMA Surface, Type B, applied to the patching, in accordance with the details shown in
<br />the plans. The cost of the pavement removal, restoration, concrete, and asphalt will not be
<br />paid for separately but shall be included in the cost of the item."
