Section V (b) and (d) of Ordinance No. <br /> 7900-88 is amended to read as follows: <br /> (b) New sworn members hired after December 31, 1986, <br /> and working 24-hour shifts shall have the following vacation <br /> schedule: <br /> Years of Service Days of Vacation <br /> 0 - 1 year 1 working day <br /> 1 2 - 7 years 4 working days <br /> 8 - 15 years 6 working days <br /> 16 - 19 years 8 working days <br /> 20 - years + 10 working days <br /> (d) New sworn members hired after December 31, 1986, <br /> and working non-24-hour shifts shall have the following <br /> vacation schedule: <br /> Years of Service Days of Vacation <br /> 0 - 1 year 1 working day per month <br /> after 8 months <br /> 1 2 - 3 years 6 working days <br /> 4 - 5 years 10 working days <br /> 6 - 10 years 12 working days <br /> 11 - 15 years 15 working days <br /> 16 - 19 years 18 working days <br /> 20 - years + 21 working days <br /> SECTION V. Section VI (e) of Ordinance No. 7900-88 is <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> (e) The current sick leave buy-back program in <br /> effect shall continue in effect for sworn members and <br /> officers of the Fire Department with the specific details <br /> being set forth in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. <br /> Newly-p.mmrrner5 All firefighters hired from and after <br /> January 1, 1989, may not sell back sick days until a bank of <br /> ten (10 days are accrued) . <br />
