(b) Drivers pay: For regularly assigned drivers of <br /> fire trucks and other heavy equipment, the tillerman, and <br /> the personnel assigned to drive ambulances on regular or <br /> rotation basis, the following percentage of the Engineer {3- <br /> 9-yefasi- in 1989, and percentage of Engineer (18 3+ years) <br /> in 1990, shall be paid: <br /> 1989 (Dollar Equivalent) 1990 (Dollar Equivalent) <br /> 1.5% ($318. 00) 2 . 0% ($461. 00) <br /> (d) Scuba Divers: For regularly assigned scuba <br /> divers, the following percentage of the Engineer {3-9-years} <br /> in 1989, and percentage of Engineer (18 3+ years) in 1990, <br /> shall be paid: <br /> 1989 (Dollar Equivalent) 1990 (Dollar Equivalent) <br /> 2 .25% ($477. 00) 2 .5% ($577. 00) <br /> (e) Paramedics: For sworn members performing <br /> paramedic duties, the following percentage of the Engineer <br /> {3-9-yews} in 1989 and percentage of Engineer (i9 3+ years) <br /> in 1990, shall be paid: <br /> 1989 (Dollar Equivalent) 1990 (Dollar Equivalent) <br /> 5.5% ($1, 167. 00) 5.5% ($1,269. 00) <br /> (f) Hazmat: For regularly assigned members of the <br /> Hazardous Materials Handling Team, the following percentage <br /> of the Engineer {3-9--ye -rs-} in 1989, and percentage of <br /> Engineer (18 3+ years) in 1990, shall be paid: <br /> 1989 (Dollar Equivalent) 1990 (Dollar Equivalent) <br /> 3% ($637. 00) 3% ($692. 00) <br /> (i) Clothing Allowance: <br /> Commencing with their second service year, <br /> officers and all other sworn members shall receive an annual <br /> clothing allowance of Seven Hundred Ninety-Nine Dollars <br /> ($799. 00) , one-half (1/2) of which shall be paid on or <br /> before June 15th and one-half (1/2) of which shall be paid <br /> on or before December 15th. <br /> SECTION III. Section IV (c) and (d) of Ordinance No. <br /> 7900-88 is amended to read as follows: <br /> (c) 1989 Health Insurance Program. <br /> In addition, in an effort to control health care <br /> costs, the City's current health insurance package shall be <br /> modified to provide a program containing comprehensive major <br /> medical health insurance which would provide for first <br /> dollar after a One Hundred Dollar ($100. 00) deductible per <br /> year is met by the sworn member or officer, deductibles of <br /> ten percent 10% of the cost of such major medical expense, <br /> with maximum claims annual cost to the sworn member or <br /> officer for such coverage being Five Hundred Dollars <br /> ($500. 00) . <br /> The City shall bay Twenty Four dnllarq ( 9.1 nn) nar <br />
