SHERD A/K/A ALLEN R. SHERD I Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the following Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works: RESOLUTION NO. 24-2008 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA APPROVING TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY TO ALLEN R. SHERK , a/k/a ALLEN R. SHE RK I WHEREAS, City of South Bend is the owner of the following described real property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana: I'Llot Numbered One Hundred Four (1 04) as shown on the recorded Plat of South East Addition to the City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana. 0 1 '11I.-i'lereinafter referred to as the Real Property); and WHEREAS, the City of South Bend., Indiana (City), acting by and through the Board of Public 'Vk'orks, hereby expresses its desire to transfer the Real Property to Allen R. Sherk a/k/a Allen R. Sherk 1; ai W'i EREAS, the transfer is pursuant to temis and conditions set forth in an Urban Homesteading 41 Ag ti reement by and between the Redevelopment Commission of the City of South bend Indiana and A','Ilen R. Sherk dated July 16, 1990 and recorded August 21, 1990 as Document Number 9022582 in the Oflfiice of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana; and W1 IEREAS, Allen R. Sherk a/k/a Allen R. Sherk I is entitled to the Real Property from the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: "I � I That the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and generally described as follows: Lo Numbered One Hundred Four (1 04) as shown on the recorded Plat of South East Addition to the City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, shall be, and hereby is authorized. 2. That upon receipt of a fully executed quit claim deed to the Real Property from the City of South Bend, Indiana to Allen R. Sherk a/k/a Allen R. Sherk 1, the Clerk of the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana is hereby authorized and directed to cause the ecordinc of said quit claim in the Office of the St. Joseph County Recorder. 3. That this Resolution shall be in fidl force and effect - upon its adoption.
