throughout the building, provided no structural alterations, except <br /> those required by law or ordinance, are made therein. If no structural <br /> alterations are made, a nonconforming use of a building may be changed <br /> to a use permitted in the same use district as that which the <br /> then-existing use is permitted or to a more restricted district <br /> according to the provisions of this chapter. <br /> (c) Whenever a use district shall be hereafter changed, any <br /> then-existing nonconforming use in such changed district may be <br /> continued or changed to a use permitted in the same use district as <br /> that in which the then-existing use is permitted, provided all other <br /> regulations governing the new use are complied with. <br /> (d) Whenever a nonconforming use of a building has been changed to <br /> a more restricted use or to a conforming use, such use shall not <br /> thereafter be changed to a less restricted use. <br /> (e) All buildings, structures or uses existing in a designated <br /> floodplain, floodway or floodway fringe which are not in full <br /> compliance with the provisions of this-erdinannee-Ne7-6394-78-feedified <br /> herein-at Sections 21-1(227146) through (287954) , (38=176) , <br /> (42 7185) , (477197) , (54:1110) ; 21-4(b) ; 21-37 (e) ; <br /> 21-109(a) (119) ; and 21-36.2 through 21-36.43 relative to floodplain <br /> management shall be considered to be nonconforming. In addition to the <br /> provisions set forth above, the following provisions shall be <br /> applicable to nonconforming buildings, structures or uses located <br /> within the "E" Floodplain, "F-1" Floodway or "F-2" Floodway Fringe <br /> District: <br /> ( 1) A nonconforming building, structure, or use located <br /> within the "F-1" Floodway and "E" Floodplain District shall not be <br /> expanded or enlarged unless a special permit for construction in a <br /> floodway or an appropriate letter of recommendation has been issued by <br /> the Natural Resources Commission. <br /> (2) A nonconforming building, structure, or use located <br /> within the "F-2" Floodway Fringe District may be altered, enlarged, or <br /> extended, on a one-time-only basis, provided that such alteration, <br /> nrnnarty_ <br />
