2021 International MV/PL Custom Titan 170 <br />Type I Ambulance Proposal Specification <br /> <br /> <br />A5347-0002 11/05/20 <br />18 <br /> <br /> MODULAR BODY COMPARTMENT DOOR <br />INSULATION: <br /> <br />All exterior compartment doors shall be insulated and sound deadened with a slow rise foam in place insulation material <br />which has an R value of 6.2. The interior skin surface of the door shall have this material sprayed and bonded to it. The <br />use of fiberglass or undercoating type material is unacceptable in this exterior door application. <br /> <br />FLOOR: <br /> <br />The floor shall consist of ¾” Expanded PVC Polymer material. This material shall have .016 lbs per cu in density and be <br />impervious to fluid intrusion. An aluminum sub-floor shall be installed between the floor material and the floor frame <br />members. <br /> <br /> <br />FRONT BULKHEAD WALL <br /> <br />FRONT WALL PASS THRU: <br /> <br />Centered in the front wall of the modular body shall be a pass through opening. The approximate opening size shall be <br />50" high by 18" wide. No door is required for this opening. <br /> <br />HEATER/AIR CONDITIONER CABINET: <br /> <br />The Heater/Air Conditioner cabinet shall be provided in the upper most area, centered above the cab to body pass -thru. <br />This cabinet shall be designed in such a way to allow for quick easy removal of Heater/Air Conditioner unit without the <br />removal of any other equipment. The interior of the cabinet shall be designed to allow fresh air intake from the front of th e <br />exterior body and exit to a closable vent located under the cabinet platform. The vent allows fresh air from the exterior of <br />the vehicle to shut off in the summer months for maximum air conditioning performance. The lower platform shall also <br />allow adequate return air flow to the Heater/Air Conditioner unit. The air return shall have a minimum air opening in the <br />cabinet for two 6" by 10" filtered return grills. <br /> <br />ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION CABINET: <br /> <br />The Electrical Distribution Cabinet shall be located on the front left wall of the body. The cabinet shall be approximately <br />14" wide x 18" deep and run from the floor to the underside platform of the heater/air conditioner cabinet. The cabinet <br />shall have a main cover, and a smaller access panel. The main cover shall be secured with four threaded fasteners. The <br />size of the access panel shall be approximately 11 1/4" wide by 24 3/4" high. The panel will latch in the closed position by <br />two flush mounted locking trigger latches. All the main wiring harnesses sha ll terminate within this compartment. Cabinet <br />shall be provided adequate compartment ventilation. Both the main cover and access panel shall be covered in heavy <br />duty vinyl to match interior upholstery. <br /> <br />An LED light shall be mounted on the ceiling of the e lectrical distribution cabinet. The light shall have a switch on the <br />flange. In addition, the light comes with a standard connector for easy maintenance. <br /> <br />ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION CABINET: <br /> <br />The Electrical Distribution Cabinet shall be located on the front left wall of the body. The cabinet shall be approximately 12 <br />1/2" wide x 17" deep and run from the floor to the underside platform of the heater/air conditioner cabinet. The cabinet <br />shall have a dual removable access panels and a larger main cover, located on the right side of the cabinet. The main <br />cover shall be secured with four threaded fasteners. An access panel, within the main cover, shall latch in the closed
