All cabinets shall be <br />attached directly to the vehicle framework and all mounting bolts shall be placed on a maximum of 12" centers for any <br />cabinet. <br /> <br />All cabinets shall be covered with AEON Enhanced Performance high pressure 1.35mm plastic laminate and trimmed with <br />aluminum moldings for a finished appearance. Raw wood or unfinished edges of any kind including aluminum panels are <br />unacceptable. <br /> <br />When a full height left front cabinet, full height right rear cabinet, or a full height cabinet in the right front exists in the <br />vehicle, it will have rounded corners of radius 1.5” on the inboard vertical edges. The rounded corner will be constructed <br />from two extrusions made from 6061-T6 aluminum. The interior extrusion is designed to attach two perpendicular sheets <br />of furniture grade laminated plywood. The exterior or visible extrusion will be satin anodized and designed to snap into the <br />interior extrusion, so that it may be replaced if damaged. If the full height left front cabinet, right rear cabinet, or full height <br />cabinet in the right front have specific components preventing the cabinet from incorporating the rounded corner design it <br />will have the edge of the cabinet finished with anodized aluminum three quarter round molding. <br /> <br />WALLS: <br /> <br />All walls of the vehicle shall be fabricated using 1/4" plywood covered with color coordinated high pressure AEON <br />enhanced performance plastic laminates. Walls shall be attached to the body framework using threaded fasteners. <br /> <br />ADJUSTABLE SHELVES: <br /> <br />All adjustable shelves within the interior cabinets shall be constructed from 1/2”, high -density polyethylene material. The <br />shelves will be mounted to Unistrut shelving standards. Each cabinet shall be equipped with four adjustable standards for <br />each cabinet and have (4) retaining clips for each shelf. The shelf will have 2 securing screws attached to retaining clips. <br />The shelf shall be the full width and depth of the cabinet and shall include a 1"anodized aluminum angle on the shelf front <br />edge, creating a full length 5/8” high retaining lip. <br /> <br />HINGED DOORS: <br /> <br />All hinged doors shall be equipped with hinges and a locking Southco stainless steel positive latching dev ice to prevent <br />opening while in motion. All surfaces of the door including the edges shall be finished to match the interior of the vehicle <br />cabinets. <br /> <br />WIRE RACEWAY: <br /> <br />A full length drop down wire raceway shall be installed down the center of the ceiling. It shall be finished with 1/8" padded <br />vinyl material to match the upholstery in the vehicle. Vehicles which utilize wire raceways above or behind interior <br />cabinets are unacceptable. <br /> <br />SOFFIT TRIM: <br /> <br />A vinyl covered soffit trim piece shall be installed around the perimeter of the interior cabinets where they meet the ceiling. <br />This trim shall be added to allow access to the cabinet mounting bolts and provide a finished transition between the ceiling <br />and cabinet surfaces. <br /> <br />
