·~ 9.0 PATIENT COMPARTMENT LIGHTS <br />Patient compartment lighting shall consist of eight (8), LED dome lights with polished <br />bezels, switched from the action area control console. These lights shall be high <br />intensity LED with clear lenses. The lights shall be activated in separate banks of <br />four (4) lights each. There shall be one (1) bank over the squad bench and one {1) <br />bank over the primary cot. Two (2) switches shall be provided in the action area <br />console, each with h ig h/off/low positions for independent operation of each bank. All <br />eight (8) LED dome lights shall be act ivated on "LOW' when either the curbside entry <br />door or rear entry doors are opened . There shall be a three-minute time delay <br />system activated by opening the entry doors. Th is system shall be battery hot and <br />turn the lights "OFF• at the three-minute pre-set time. No ceiling light shall protrude <br />into the patient compartment by more than 1 .25n. / <br />Y_N_ <br />9.0.1 THINLITE LIGHTS <br />Four (4) Trucklite model #80251 C 18" LED panel lights, recessed i nto the ceiling <br />shall also be provided and i nstalled. One (1) on/off position switch shall be provided <br />in the action area console. . /.. <br />Y..L-N- <br />9.0.2 An LED strip light shall be provided and installed in the primary action area. <br />This light shall have a manual "on/off' switch. <br />9.0.3 A rotary timer system shall be provided for the fluorescent lights. The system <br />shall be preset to automatically turn the lights off after activating. The timer shall be <br />from 5-60 minutes. <br />The patient compartment interior lights must meet the requirements set forth in AMD <br />Standard Test 016 Patient Compartment Lighting . <br />10.0 CEILING HEADLINER <br />The patient compartment headliner shall be constructed of a durable, high-gloss <br />white, p lasticized Marli te, backed with a non-rigid non-wood material. The headliner <br />shall be securely affixed to the roof bows and to the .090n aluminum accessory plate <br />we lde d to the roof structure. There shall be a full-length inspect ion access/wire race <br />in the center of the ce ili ng , which provides access to the wiring harness and <br />antennae bases/leads. The access shall have removable padded vinyl covers. <br />10.1 FLOORING <br />A one-piece non-wood material sub-floor on all patient area floors less than 144" in <br />length shall be installed on top of the .090" thick aluminum sheet. The sub-floor shall <br />be securely fastened with sheet metal screws long enough to penetrate the 2" x 211 <br />body t ubes below the .090" a lum inum sheet. This process shall create a sandwich <br />effect for long lasting durability and a solid surface. All screws shall be filled and <br />sanded to provide a smooth surface for the linoleum covering. F loor le ngths longer <br />than 144" shall include a two-piece plywood underlayment. Vinyl , anti-skid, <br />commercial grade, heavy-duty, non-porous floor covering shall be applied to the <br />entire floor in a one-piece seamless application.
