8.0 INTERIOR PATIENT COMPARTMENT COMPONENTS <br />Patient Compartment Sound Levels : This vehicle shall provide an interior working <br />environment in which the ambient noise level is less than 80 dB as measured <br />according to AMO Standard 006, Sound Leve l Test Code for Ambu lance <br />Com partment Interiors. <br />Pat ient Compartment Carbon Monoxide Levels: This vehic le shall provide an interior <br />worki ng envi ronment in which the carbon monoxide level Is less than 10 ppm as <br />measured in accordance with AMO Standard 007, Carbon Monoxide Levels for <br />Ambulance Compartment Interiors. / <br />Y_N_ <br />8.1 CABINET GLASS <br />All cabinet doors incorporating acrylic glass, as sliding or hinged windows shall have <br />.250n thick smoked acrylic Plexiglas® as the standard material and 3/8n where <br />otherwise specified. / <br />8.2 STAINLESS STEEL ROUND LATCHES <br />Stain les s Steel Round Southco locki ng latches (or equal) shall be provided on each <br />door where applicable . <br />8.3 CABINETRY <br />The cabinetry in the pat ient compartment shall have picture framed window face <br />fronts fabricated f rom lightweight smooth aluminum materi al and lam inated with a <br />m i nimum .028" Formica (or approved equal). The shelves and the supporting <br />structure shall be non -wood material and laminated with a mi nimum of .028" Formica <br />on both sides. <br />Non -supportive partitions shall be lightweight smooth aluminum material and <br />laminated with a minimum of .02811 Formica on both sides. All vertical outside <br />corners and protruding edges of overhead storage shall be capped with 5" radius <br />satin finish anodized aluminum moldings or padded vinyl. <br />All cabinetry shall be sealed and molded to the floor with bright-anodized aluminum <br />molding. All interior materials, cabinetry, vinyl, foam, and installation used shall meet <br />or exceed FMVSS 302 requirements on flammability of interior materials (where <br />applicable). <br />8.4 COUNTERTOPS <br />The countertop in the pri mary action area of the patient compartment shall be non- <br />wood materi al , laminated with a min i mum .028" stainless steel. The top shall be a <br />pan style w ith all seams sealed . <br />8.4.1 The countertop in the second action area of the patient compartment shall be <br />non-wood material, laminated with a minimum .028" stainless steel.
