shall have minimums of nom ina l overall thickness of 2.03 mm. The flooring shall <br />comply with ASTM F 970 (modified) in regard to static load bearing and D-2047 <br />James Test for sl ip resistance. There shall be a 5" roll-up splashguard installed on <br />the street side cabinet wall and the squad bench face. A waterproof sealant shall be <br />applied between the cabinetry and the floor at the cabinet and floor covering <br />juncture. <br />10.2 REAR THRESHOLD <br />There shall be a 6" wide, 16 ga. formed , stainless steel threshold protector installed <br />on the rear interio r of the body. The protector shall run the entire width of the f loor at <br />the door opening. A 2" wid e , adhesive-backed non-ski d materi al shall be installed on <br />the threshold piece to assist with safe entry and exit from the vehicle . <br />10.3 INTERIOR PROTECTION <br />A stainless-steel riser shall be provided on the lower half of the squad bench , to just <br />below the seating surface, and the street side cabinet face, up to an approximate <br />height of 13" from the floor. It shall protect the vertical surfaces from scratches, <br />marks and debris and shall be easily cleaned. <br />10.4 INTERIOR COLORS AND MATERIAL <br />The Formica color for all cabinets within the patient compartment shall be Stone <br />Graffix #503 {Grey/White). <br />10.4.1 The Formica shall have a matte finish . <br />10.4.2 The LonPlate II bra nd floori ng color shall be Gun Metal (dark gray) #424 . <br />10.4.3 The upholstery color shall be Gunmetal #MV102 {Dark Gray). <br />11.0 LEFT SIDE CABINETRY <br />11 .1 ACTION AREA <br />y~- <br />v-.LN_ <br />Y_N/ <br />Y/N_ <br />YLN_ <br />v_6_ <br />An efficient and accessib le action area shall be located to the right of t he attendant <br />seat Oxygen and suction/aspiration equipment outlets shall be readi ly accessible. It <br />shall provide a counter for the attendant's use. The counter shall have a 3/4 " lip to <br />prevent items from falling . For the attendant's safety, the foremost vertical leading <br />edge and top horizontal edge of the action area cabinet shall be trimmed with fabric <br />backed padded vinyl. The foam padding shall be 3/8" high-density foam and shall <br />have a R-factor of 0.25. All seams are to be machine stitched for proper fit and <br />durability. / YLN __ <br />11.2 ACTION AREA CONTROL PANEL <br />All patient compartment lighti ng, environmental equipment and other indicators and <br />controls critical to the care of the patient shall be controlled from a switching console <br />located to the right side of the rear facing Technician's seat.
