American Response Vehicles <br />50 <br />The door will be a solid hinged door with a non-locking round pull latch. <br /> <br />PLASTIC VENT: A fifteen square inch free air flow ventilation hole he cut into the above door. The edges of the <br />cut out will be banded. The hole will be covered with an aesthetically appealing, molded plastic louver cover. <br />The louver cover will be black in color and secured with at least one No 8 screw in each corner. <br /> <br />RIGHT FRONT CABINET (I): The right front cabinet is hereinafter known as the ALS cabinet. The cabinet will be <br />constructed of aluminum and composite materials as appropriate. All fixed and adjustable shelf surfaces will <br />be covered in Easy Grip material. All fixed and adjustable shelf lips will be covered with anodized aluminum <br />trim. All shelves will have a ¾ lip. The ALS cabinet will provide at least 22.0 cubic feet of storage and <br />Configured as follows. <br /> <br />GLOVE BOX STORAGE RIGHT FRONT ALS CABINET: There will be a storage section in the front right ALS cabinet <br />for the storage of examination gloves. The cabinet will be built to house three independent boxes, single <br />depth. A singular acrylic door will retain the boxes, secured by a latch. The door will have 3 separate machined <br />openings, smooth and burr free. The independent openings will allow for gloves to be removed without <br />opening the door. The door will be a left hinged lexan door with a non-locking round pull latch. <br /> <br />Cabinet I-1: This cabinet is located on the top section of the ALS (Cabinet I). This cabinet will have a solid <br />bottom hinged door with a locking round pull latch. <br /> <br />CABINET I-2: The lower section will be will meet current Federal specification KKK-A-1822. Access from the <br />inside will be as follows below. <br /> <br />ALS CABINET WEBBING: There will be a removable cover over the right front ALS cabinet opening. The cover <br />will consist of 2" seat belt webbing material. The 2" webbing will be constructed so that the openings are no <br />larger than about 7" squares. The ends will be sewn in loops to allow installation through a metal footman style <br />loop that will be fastened to the edge of the ALS cabinet. The netting will be quick released for access to the <br />secured equipment through automotive style metal buckles. The design will be so that the stored medical <br />equipment is not able to come through the holes in the net and is secured when the net is in place. <br /> <br />STOWAGE LABEL: A label will be applied for the entire area covered by a single cargo net indicating its ability to <br />restrain 80 pounds of contents within the stowage area. This net as built by the manufacturer has been tested <br />to SAE J3058 and found to have a safe working capacity of 80 pounds of stowage capacity restraint. This item is <br />compliant to section 3.11.3 of KKK-A-128F dated July 1, 2017. <br /> <br />(Cabinet I) OUTSIDE ACCESS DELETION: This cabinet level will NOT have outside access through the right front <br />compartment door. This level will be blocked off from outside access for security. <br /> <br />SHELF STANDARDS: The aforementioned cabinet will be equipped with non-incremental, aluminum, C- <br />shaped shelf standards. <br />
