American Response Vehicles <br />49 <br />STAINLESS STEEL APPLICATION: The lower section of the wall cabinet face at approximately the same <br />height as the attendant seat cushion. <br /> <br />LEXAN COLOR: The lexan throughout the vehicle will be transparent and without tint. All doors will be at least <br />one quarter of one inch thick (1/4"), shatter proof and scratch resistant. The edges of the doors will be worked <br />and burned smooth. The material will be flexible enough to be cold formed (Bent) at ninety degrees, without <br />fracturing the material. Brittle material is not acceptable. <br /> <br />ATTENDANT SEAT: There will be a high back captain's seat mounted in the patient area. The seat will have an <br />integrated child safety seat with a pull down backrest and concealed 4-point child restraint. The seat will be <br />mounted per the requirements in the latest revision of KKK-A-1822. The seatbelt on the main part of the seat <br />will be an integrated, Per4Max 4-point that is supplied and tested by the seat manufacturer as a complete <br />package. The color of the seat will be vacuum formed gunmetal upholstery. The upholstery will pass FMVSS <br />302 testing. <br /> <br />SEAT BASE: There will be a powder coated metal seat that is tested to be utilized with the Emergency Vehicle <br />Seating Child integrated seat. The metal base will be mounted to the ambulance floor and secured to modular <br />body sub-structure according to the manufacturer's guidelines. The seat base will have a (2) position swivel, <br />forward or rearward. The handle to engage the swivel function will be located on the right side of the seat. <br /> <br />AIR CONDITIONING EVAPORATOR CABINET: The patient cabin will be equipped with a rear air conditioning <br />and heat unit. The cabinet housing the unit will be composite materials with Color Keyed laminate to the <br />exterior and matte white to the interior as needed. The AC Unit is to be located over the walkthrough at the <br />bulkhead. The design will provide adequate air return to meet or exceed the current revision of the Federal <br />specification KKK-A-1822. <br /> <br />CABINET OVER SQUAD BENCH: The curbside upper cabinet is located on the curbside (right side) of the patient <br />cabin, over the squad bench. The cabinet length will be maximized and start within two inches of the curbside <br />entry door opening and mate against the right rear wall of the patient cabin. <br /> <br />CABINET "K1, K2, and K3": An interior cabinet will be provided above the squad bench, on the curb side of the <br />vehicle. This multipurpose cabinet interior will be finished in high impact, white colored mica that is impervious <br />to disinfectants and cleaners. The cabinet will have three openings, separated by flush dividers. Three separate <br />door systems will exist to contain the contents of the cabinet. Each cabinet opening will have a single flip up <br />lexan door with a non-locking round pull latch and Reel Torque style hinges. <br /> <br />CABINET “P”: An interior cabinet will be provided above the squad bench, on the curb side of the vehicle, <br />forward of and just under the “K” cabinets. This cabinet will be angled and will be used as a two way radio <br />cabinet. The cabinet will be 5” High by 9” Wide. <br /> <br />LEFT FRONT CABINET, CABINET"H": Cabinet "H" is the electrical cabinet behind the attendant seat on top of <br />the AC Unit. This cabinet will house the modular electrical components to include two air vents in the door.
