Section II B Attachment vii <br />SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY <br />POLICY OBJECTIVES: <br />The use of alcohol and other drugs leads to unsafe working conditions for workers; the impaired <br />worker is a potential hazard to himself and to those working with him/her. The purpose of the <br />program is to outline a substance abuse policy that will establish and help maintain a drug and <br />alcohol free, safe and healthy work environment for all workers. <br />SCOPE AND APPLICATION: <br />This policy covers all personnel employed whether full or part-time by Reynolds Construction, <br />and assigned to certain safety-sensitive areas. Whenever the term “company” is used herein, it <br />shall be deemed to include the employees who are assigned to those areas that are considered to <br />be SAFETY SECURITY SENSITIVE by management. <br />Management has designated that all employees of Reynolds Construction are working in either <br />safety or security sensitive areas. <br />This policy applies to all “company property” which for purposes of this policy includes: <br />1.Property controlled by the company. <br />2.Buildings and/or areas where company work is being developed, conducted, evaluated, or <br />inspected. <br />WRITTEN SAFTEY PROGRAM Page | 236 <br /> <br />
