Water cleaning of coated concrete block and concrete surfaces, including interior of upper roof <br />parapets. <br />B. Water cleaning of uncoated concrete unit masonry surfaces <br />C. Reinstallation of loose concrete block units. <br />D. Cutting of control joints in existing concrete masonry units. <br />E. Repointing mortar joints. <br />F. Sealing masonry control joints and settlement cracks. <br />G. Removal of abandoned hardware, anchors, conduits and similar items attached to the masonry <br />surfaces. <br />1.2 RELATED REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Section 04 0511 - Mortar and Masonry Grout. <br />B. Section 07 9200 - Joint Sealants. <br />C. Section 09 9723 - Concrete and Masonry Coatings. <br />1.3 PRICE AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES <br />A. See Section 01 2200 - Unit Prices, for additional unit price requirements. <br />B. Repointing: By the square foot. Includes areas indicated on drawings. <br />C. Sealant joints: By the linear foot. Includes joints indicated on drawings. <br />1.4 REFERENCE STANDARDS <br />A. TMS 402/602 - Building Code Requirements and Specification for Masonry Structures; 2016. <br />1.5 ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Preinstallation Meeting: Convene one week prior to commencing work of this section. <br />1. Require attendance of parties directly affecting work of this section. <br />2.
