Repair by welding new bar reinforcement to existing reinforcement using sleeve splices. <br />G. Follow repair product manufacturer's written installation instructions. <br />H. Cover exposed steel reinforcement with epoxy mortar. <br />I. Work epoxy mortar into broken surface and build up patch to match original. <br />J. Feather edges of repairs flush to sound surface and trowel surface to match surrounding area. <br />3.4 CEMENTITIOUS OVERLAY TO CORRECT SLOPE <br />A. Clean concrete surface and allow to fully dry. <br />B. Apply resurfacing material to required slopes in accordance with manufacturers written <br />installation instructions. <br />1. Follow manufactures specific instructions for installation at interior locations. <br />2. Peas gravel may be added where depth allows. <br />C. Provide feather edge at top of slope to meet existing concrete surface <br />D. Trowel finish to match adjacent concrete surfaces. <br />E. Allow topping to cure in accordance with manufacturer's written instructions. <br />3.5 CONCRETE SURFACE REPAIR USING CEMENTITIOUS MATERIALS <br />A. Clean concrete surfaces, cracks, and joints of dirt, laitance, corrosion, and other contamination <br />using method(s) specified above and allow to dry. <br />B. Follow bonding agent and repair mortar manufacturer's written installation instructions. <br />C. Apply coating of bonding agent to entire concrete surface to be repaired. <br />D. Fill voids with cementitious mortar flush with surface. <br />E. Apply repair mortar by steel trowel to a minimum thickness of 1/4 inch over entire surface, <br />terminating at a vertical change in plane on all sides. <br />F.
