South Bend Fire Department <br />One (1)Access Ladder, Rosenbauer EZClimb,Left Rr <br />38-90-2050 <br />ACCESS LADDER _EZ CLIMB - LEFT REAR <br />There shall bea swing out and down access ladder supplied and installed on the apparatus, for <br />accessing the top of the apparatus.It shall be of an all aluminum design and shall incorporate <br />treads six (6") inches deep and no more than eighteen (18") inches apart.The ground to the first <br />step dimension, on level ground, shall be no morethan twenty-four(24") inches. <br />The access ladder shall have integrated hand holds in the steps, to aid in the ascent/descent of the <br />ladder. <br />When in the deployed position the ladder shall have an angle of approximately 75-degrees to <br />facilitate ascending and descending the ladder. The ladder shall be retained in the stowed and <br />deployed position by two (2) gas cylinders and shall not require the use of latches to hold it in <br />position. <br />One (1)Handrail, Alum, Lighted,Red LED, RrStep,Vert,30",Pair <br />33-70-1202 <br />REAR STEP HAND RAILS <br />Two (2) exterior lightedhand rails, approximately 30" in length, shall be vertically mounted on <br />the rear, one (1) on eachside of the apparatus body. The hand rail shall be made of 1.25” <br />diameter extruded aluminum to enable non-slip assistance with a gloved hand and mounted on <br />stanchions. The hand rails shall feature red LED lighting which shall illuminate when the park <br />brake is engaged. <br />One (1)Handrail, Alum, Lighted,Red LED, Below Hosebed, Horz, 48" <br />33-70-2102 <br />HAND RAIL BELOWHOSEBED <br />One (1)exterior lighted hand rail, approximately 48" in length, shall be horizontally mounted <br />below the hosebed on the rear of the apparatus body. The hand rail shall be made of 1.25” <br />diameter extruded aluminum to enable non-slip assistance with a gloved hand and mounted on <br />stanchions. The hand rail shall featurered LED lighting which shall illuminate when the park <br />brake is engaged. <br />One (1)Rub Rails, Lwr Bdy,Extrd Alum <br />44-02-1100 <br />EXTRUDED ALUMINUM RUB RAILS <br />Full body length polished aluminum rub rails shall be bolted in place on the lower right and left <br />body sides.
