All threaded fittings shall be a minimum of Schedule #40 stainless steel. The <br />discharge manifoldassembly shall have radiusedsweep elbows to minimize water turbulence. <br />The manifold shall be welded and pressure testedprior to installation. The stainless steel <br />manifold inlet shall be attached to the pump discharge and have additional bracketsas required <br />to support the dischargemanifold, valves and related components. <br />The stainless steel manifold assembly shall have a ten (10) year warranty. <br />One (1)Painting,Pump atPumpMfg <br />21-01-7400 <br />FIRE PUMP PAINTING <br />The fire pump shall be painted by the fire pumpmanufacturer. <br />One (1)Threads, NationalHose(NST) <br />21-01-8100 <br />HOSETHREADS <br />The hose threads shall be National Standard Thread (NST) on all base threads on the apparatus <br />intakes and discharges. <br />One (1)Tank-To-Pump,WaterTank, 3" Vlv/4"Piping, RrMt <br />22-51-5400 <br />WATER TANK TO PUMP LINE <br />One(1)3"watertanktotherearmountedfirepumplineshallbeprovidedwithafullflowquarter <br />turnballvalve,4"piping,andwithflexhoseandstainlesssteelhoseclamps.Thetanktopump <br />line shall be equipped with a check valve to prevent pressurization of the water tank. <br />The line shall be flow tested during the fire pumptesting and shall meet applicable requirements <br />of NFPA standards. <br />One (1)Single Tank to PumpControl - Pump Operator'sPanel <br />22-50-0100 <br />The tank to pump valve shall be controlled at the pump operator's panel. <br />One (1)VlvMfger,AKR,8000, (3") <br />24-62-1300 <br />The valve shall bean Akron 8000 Series three-inch (3") valve with a stainless ball. <br />One (1)Intk Vlv Cntrl, AKR,Sealed Lever Bank <br />22-55-4070 <br />The valve control shall be a sealed lever with aircraftcable control. The lever shall be locking <br />with a polished finish.
