Thedefroster <br />systemshallexceed SAE J382minimumdefrostingsystem performancerequirements. <br />CAB/CREW CAB HEATER <br />Two (2) 36,700 BTU auxiliaryheaters with 270minimum SCFMeach unitofair flow shall <br />YES/NO <br />be provided insidethecrew cab, one (1)in each outboard forward-facingseatriser. The <br />heaters shallinclude highperformance dualscrollblowers one (1)foreachunit.Outletsfor <br />theheaters shall belocatedbeloweachrear-facingseat riserand belowthefrontsof the <br />driverand passenger seats,forefficientairflow. Anextrudedaluminum plenum shallbe <br />incorporatedin the cab structurethatshalltransfer heat to theforward cab seatingpositions. <br />The heater-defrosterandcrew cab heaters shallbecontrolled by a single integralelectronic <br />controlpanel. The heatercontrolpanel shall allowthedriverto controlheatflowto thefront <br />andrearsimultaneously.The control panelshallinclude variableadjustmentfortemperature <br />andfan controland beconveniently locatedon the dash in clearview ofthe driver.The <br />controlpanel shallincludehighly visible, progressiveLED indicatorsfor bothfan speedand <br />temperature.Forincreasedconvenience,an optionaldualcontrolfor the passenger position <br />shallalsobe available. <br />AIR CONDITIONING <br />A high-performance,customizedairconditioningsystemshall be furnishedinside thecab <br />andcrew cab. <br />YES/NO <br />The air conditioning system shall becapableofcooling theaverage cabtemperaturefrom <br />100 degrees Fahrenheit to64 degreesFahrenheitintheforwardsectionofthecab,and 69 <br />degrees Fahrenheitintherear sectionofthecab,at 50percentrelative humidity within 30 <br />minutes. Thecooling performancetest shall berun only afterthe cabhasbeenheat soakedat <br />100 degrees Fahrenheit foraminimumof 4 hours <br />Evaporator drain plumbingshall beconstructedofrigid tubingto preventcrimping and poor <br />drainage. <br />A condenserwitha BTU output thatmeetsandexceeds theperformancespecificationshall <br />be installedtomeet our heightrequirementsas wellasmanufacturesrequirements.
