Thepassengersidedashboard shall beconstructed <br />of paintedaluminumfordurabilityandlowmaintenance. For enhancedversatility, the <br />passenger sidedashshallinclude a flat workingsurface. To provideoptional(service <br />friendly)control panels, switchesandstoragemodules, a three(3) piece,an Aluminum <br />overheadconsoleshallalso be provided. To complete the cabfrontinterior design, painted <br />YES/NO <br />aluminummodesty panelsshall be providedunder thedash onboth sidesofthecab. The <br />driverside modestypanelshall providemountingforthe battery switch and diagnostic <br />connectors, whilethe passengerside modestypanel provides a glove box,andground access <br />to themain electricaldistribution panelviaquick quarterturnfasteners. <br />. For durability andease ofmaintenance,thecabinteriorside walls andrear wall shall be <br />paintedblack,vinyl texture paintaluminum. <br />The innercab doorpanelsshall includegrabhandlesand control panelsmoldedinto the <br />uppersection ofthe doorpanel.The doorpanels shallbe fullsizedand painted with durable <br />coatingtomatchcabinterior.Minimum 10” wide scotchlitereflectivechevronwith door <br />openindicatorlight. <br />The headliner shall beinstalled inbothforwardandrear cabsections. Thecrew cab headliner <br />shall beonepiece. The headlinerpanel shall bea composition ofa corrugatedhigh-density <br />polyethylene panelcovered with a sound barrierandupholstery. For quick,easy access of <br />electricalwiring,or to performothermaintenance needs without stripping screws, the <br />headlinershall be held in place bya duallockfastening system thatshallrequireno toolsfor <br />installation orremoval. Headlinerinstallationrequiring removal ofmechanicalfasteners <br />shall not beacceptable. <br />The cabstructure shall include designatedraceways for electrical harnessroutingfromthe <br />frontof the cab totherearupperportion ofthecab.Raceways shall be extruded in the <br />forward doorframe,floor,walls and overheadinthe area wherethewallsmeetthe ceiling. <br />The raceways locatedinthe floor shall becoveredbyaluminumextrusion, whilethe vertical <br />and overheadraceways shallbe covered by adecorative composite panel. Theraceways shall <br />improve harness integrityby providing acontinuousharness paththateliminateswire <br />chafingand abrasionassociatedwithexposedwiringor routingthroughdrilledmetal holes. <br />Harnessesshallbelaid in place, not pulled throughholes drilledinaluminum tubing. Once <br />laid inplace,all harnesses shall be heldinposition by a hook and loop fastening system. The <br />hook andloop system shallallow for bracketfastenerpoints to not puncture harnesses. The <br />racewaysshallincluderemovable covers, providing maintenancepersonnel withquickand <br />easyaccessfortrouble shooting, orthe additionof accessories. Harnessesshallbe located <br />within theraceway behind the wire way cover. <br />CAB INTERIOR UPHOLSTERY <br />The cabinterior upholsteryshall beblack.
