DOORS <br />The forwardcabandcrewcab doorsshallbe the fullstyle door. To enhance entry and egress <br />to the cab,theforward cabdoorsshallbe aminimumof 34" widex 73" high. ThecrewcabYES/NO <br />doorsshallmeasure a minimum of34"wide x73"high. <br />The forwardcabandcrewcab doorsshallbe constructed ofextruded aluminumwitha <br />nominalmaterialthicknessof .125". The exterior doorskins shall be constructedfrom .090" <br />aluminum. <br />Eachforward cab andcrew cab entry door shall contain a roll-downtemperedglass window. <br />The interior handles shallprovide 4.00" wide x 1.25" deep handclearance forease of use <br />withheavygloved hands. <br />YES/NO <br />The cabdoors shall be providedwithbothinterior andexterior(keyed)locks exceeding <br />FMVSS standards. <br />Thereshallbe doubleautomotive-typerubbersealsaround the perimeter ofthe doorframing <br />and door edgesto ensure aweather-tightfit. <br />The innercab doorpanelsshall beremovablewithout requiring the disconnectionof door <br />and window mechanisms.A panelshallhouse the window switches andshallmold into the <br />uppersillofthe doorpanel. <br />CAB DOOR SCUFFPLATES <br />Cab doorscuffplatesare not requiredduetostainlesssteeldoorpanels on cabdoors. <br />ELECTRIC CAB DOOR LOCKS <br />Thefrontdriver andpassenger doorsshallhavea doorlockmaster switch (custom designed <br />rotarylockknob) built intotheinteriordoorlatchthatshall controlallfrontandrearsideexit <br />doorlocks. Each rearcabdoor shall haveits own lockcontrol.Eachdoorshallhave a keyed <br />YES/NO <br />exteriorlockmechanism built intothedoorhandleassembly. <br />Thereshallbe one (1) concealed switchonthe exterior of thecab thatoperatesthe cab door <br />locks. <br />YES/NO <br />CAB STEPS <br />The forwardcabandcrewcab accesssteps shall be a fullsize two(2) stepdesignto provide <br />largest possiblestepping surfacesforsafeingressandegress. A slip-resistanthandrailshall <br />be provided adjacenttoeach cab door openingto assist during cab ingressand egress. <br />STEP LIGHTS <br />Forreduced overallmaintenancecostscompared to incandescentlighting,thereshall be <br />eight (8) white LED,steplightsprovided.
