Plastic condensercoverswill not be acceptable. No Exception. <br />One (1)Heater Hose - Rubber <br />05-02-0048 <br />HEATER HOSE <br />The heater hose inside the cab for the HVAC system shall be rubber hose. <br />One (1)Heater Hose Insulation -Chassis & up to Cab <br />05-02-0051 <br />HEATER HOSE INSULATION <br />Theheaterhosesleadingfromtheenginetothecabshallincludeafoaminsulationwrapwhich <br />runsthelengthofthehoseimprovingheatinginextremecoldclimates.Theheaterhoseswhich <br />shall be routed inside the cab shall not be insulated. <br />One (1)A/C Condenser LocationRoof Mount Mid Center <br />05-02-0200 <br />CONDENSER <br />The cabair conditioning system shall include one (1) low profile HE-condenser which shall be <br />centered forward on the roof of the cab. <br />One (1)AuxiliaryDefroster Fans <br />05-02-0300 <br />AUXILIARY DEFROSTER FANS <br />Two (2) each 6" diameter defrost fans integrated into the driver and officer headerangled <br />towards the windshield for improved air circulation. <br />One (1)Rosenbauer CleanAir Cab RecirculationAirScrubber <br />05-02-0600 <br />CLEANAIR RECIRCULATION AIR SCRUBBER <br />The fireapparatus cab shall be equipped with a CleanAircabrecirculation air filtration system. <br />The CleanAir system shall be mounted behind the engine tunnel and be designed to remove <br />harmful particles, volatile organiccompounds (VOCs), and other gases from the cab. The system <br />shall contain two (2) different filters housed inametal box. The activatedcharcoal filter shall <br />meet a minimum efficiency 75% forremoving VOCs on the first pass as tested by an <br />independent particulatetesting facility. The testing shall be done to ASHRAE Standard 145.2 <br />Performance of Gas-Phase Air Cleaning Systems.
