The fill system shall include an air gap anti -siphon design to protect <br />the water supply. <br />Water level gauge/tube shall be located at the operator's station and <br />fill station. <br />Low water alarm to be equipped to warn operator of low water in <br />tanks. <br />A 2 '/z" diameter x 25' long hydrant hose, with proper connections, <br />shall be included. <br />A continuous fill system shall be provided so that the unit may be <br />hooked directly to a hydrant. <br />The water tank shall come supplied with a "Y" pattern stainless steel <br />strainer to filter the water before it enters the tank. <br />The water tank shall carry a lifetime warranty against corrosion or <br />cracking. <br />The water supply to the pump shall allow dumping of the debris tank <br />and operation of the water pump while in the full dumped position. <br />Vacuum <br />System shall be a roots type model 824 or better positive <br />®/ NO <br />System: <br />displacement blower. Blower to be capable of 4400 CFM @ 18 <br />inches of mercury. <br />Three (3) vacuum relief valves shall be built into the vacuum system <br />to maintain high negative pressure. <br />Air vacuum system shall have an air actuated vacuum relief valve <br />that allows vacuum relief at suction tub while maintaining free air <br />flow through the positive displacement vacuum pump. <br />The positive displacement blower shall carry a five (5) year <br />manufacturer's warranty. <br />Engagement and disengagement of the air vac system shall be <br />performed at the operator's station and/or from inside the cab. <br />One vertically mounted stainless -steel micro -strainer in a centrifugal <br />separator shall be incorporated between the exhauster and debris <br />tank. The vertical mounting shall allow the settling of contamination <br />out of the main airflow. <br />
