CCS Identification Card and Database Protocol <br /> <br />1. Test results from all MICCS required testing will be entered into the MICCS <br />ith <br />the entry of a negative result. <br />2. A MICCS card will be issued to the employee with a negative test result. A <br />new card will not be issued each time a test is taken; The card will be issued <br /> replace a <br />worn, unreadable card. <br />3. <br />assigned identification number. If the employee is collected at a location <br />without the capabilities to take photos, the MICCS ID card will be issued <br />without a picture. The MICCS Substance Abuse Card is the property of <br />MICCS and contractors are asked to make every effort to retrieve the card of <br />any person whose card has become invalid. <br />4. Contractors are required to send testing results to the database for tests <br />taken for post accident, annual, probable cause/reasonable suspicion, <br />random, follow-up, and return to duty testing. <br /> <br />Explanation of Drug Testing Results <br /> <br />Negative Testing Result <br /> <br />A result is considered negative if the laboratory finds no drug metabolite levels over <br />database. <br /> <br />Positive Testing Result <br /> <br />A result is considered positive if the presence of the drug meets or exceeds both the <br />screening and confirmation levels listed in the SAMHSA Drug Screen, as verified by <br />a MRO, and the MRO has determined that the test results do not stem from use of <br />prescription medications, over the counter medications, food, or any reason other <br />than the use of illegal substances or controlled substances used illegally. <br /> <br />Diluted Specimen <br /> <br />A diluted specimen result will require a retest. The MICCS database manager will <br />report the dilute to the designated contractor representative.
