Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1799 approving the acquisition <br />of real property in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. (52738 Olive Rd., James <br />and Melissa Staszewski) <br />Mr. Rock explained that Resolution No. 1799 is <br />for permission from the Commission to purchase <br />property. He noted that the City and the <br />property owners have agreed upon the purchase <br />price of $82,750. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1799 <br />approving the acquisition of real property in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. (52738 <br />Olive Rd., James and Melissa Staszewski) <br />o. Commission approval requested for <br />professional services in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. (Appraisal update, Bosch <br />Braking System Corp.) <br />Mr. Case explained that if Bosch is to be put on <br />the acquisition list, there must be two appraisals <br />done to determine the fair market value of the <br />property. He noted that the staff has received <br />two proposals, one from R.E. Pitts & Associates, <br />Inc. and the other from David A Waszak. Both <br />proposals are in the amount of $3,500. The staff <br />recommends accepting both proposals. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the proposals from R.E. <br />Pitts and David A. Waszak for professional <br />services in the Airport Economic Development <br />Area.
