South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - October 20, 2000 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />1. Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1798 <br />amending the Airport Economic Development <br />Area Development Plan. <br />Ms. Greene stated that all required notices have <br />been published, that all property owners have <br />been notified, and that no public remonstrances <br />have been filed. <br />Mr. Rock explained that Resolution No. 1798 <br />amends the plan to add the Staszewski property <br />to the acquisition list. Mr. Rock explained that <br />there are five houses along Olive Road that are <br />not part of the TIF area. The City of South Bend <br />has annexed the property into the city limits. He <br />stated that the city has come to an agreement <br />with one property owner to purchase her <br />property. <br />Mr. Hunt opened the Public Hearing on <br />Resolution No. 1798 amending the Airport <br />Economic Development Area Development Plan. <br />He asked if there was anyone from the public <br />who wished to address the Commission. There <br />not being anyone who wished to speak, Mr. Hunt <br />closed the Public Hearing on Resolution <br />No. 1798 for whatever action the Commission <br />wished to take. <br />m. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1798. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Caldwell and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1798. <br />-12- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION <br />NO. 1798 <br />
